Publishers
The Coverage view reads the public feeds of the 26 publishers below, the way a feed reader does: every ten minutes at most, once for everyone, with a reader that names itself (browse.info news, with this address and a contact). Of each item Browse keeps the link, the headline as the outlet wrote it, its time, its author where the feed names one, and its categories. The summary, the text and the pictures are never read. Browse writes no headline of its own: a story's heading is the earliest outlet's own words, and the grouping is by a rule printed beside it.
For publishers
Your feed is read only where your robots.txt allows a reader at its address, checked daily. To be removed, write to comboventures+browse@gmail.com from an address at your domain: your outlet leaves the register within 48 hours, with the date recorded on it, and is not re-added. To be added, send the feed's address; it is measured once (the feed, its dates, your robots.txt) and listed with what your terms say. Browse carries no advertising, sells nothing and has no accounts, and reads your feed as a non-commercial use; where your terms speak of personal or non-commercial use, that is the reading, recorded here beside your own sentence, and your word to the contrary ends it.
The register
Each measured once with Browse's reader on the day shown: the feed answered, carried dates, and the site's robots.txt allowed the read. The terms column quotes the outlet's own sentence about its feeds where one was read; "not yet read" is not a grant.

Measured the same day and not added: The Washington Post, CBC News, El País, The Hindu, AP, Reuters (a feed that did not answer, carried no dates, was a day old, or a robots.txt that disallows every unnamed reader). The method is on About; the feeds Browse itself publishes are at /news/feeds.
