An amphibian that lived about 300 million years ago is named Fedexia, after the delivery company FedEx.

Its fossil skull was found at a FedEx site near Pittsburgh International Airport, Pennsylvania, by University of Pittsburgh student Adam Striegel on a field trip. When the species was described in 2010, it was named Fedexia striegeli, after the company and the student. It was a meat-eating amphibian that lived about 70 million years before the first dinosaurs.
